This election made people so divided to the point where neither side could comprehend why people voted for the other, they even said a nice chunk of trump voters did not reveal that they are voting for him in fear of backlash... Not to mention the election process takes so damn long, they started discussing it since 2015. It makes peoples' attitude so poisonous where every american news outlet and talk show hosts keeps reminding them about the election and who to vote for so long. They should really consider shortening the election process, there's always that feeling of catharsis at the end of every election.. especially this one. This is why they should've put up somebody like Joe Biden, instead of the literal embodiment of Washington based corruption that is Hillary Clinton. iirc she even spent 10x more than Trump and still ended up losing - people just hate her that much.
