I was playing csgo halfway and steam suddenly make me offline, I thought it was my interent so I restarted my router, Turns out when I went steamstat.us, I found out that everything is Unknown.

Its my first time experiencing this, any idea?

Poodle Corp tweeted about it, the owners of some of the csgo gambling sites paid them

Oh god man. This csgo gambling sites are so addicted to earning money. They are doing this over Steam's API and refuses to close their sites. :(

They deleted that tweet.

The tweet said: "Courtesy of a payment received from the CSGO Gambling sites. You're welcome Valve."

Valve gets ddosed quite often (as stated by themself during the caching leak thingy) Steam's down for a few mins and that's it, poodlecorp can't do shit to them.

Edit: The gambling sites and their owners probably commited suicide by doing that, now they'll get sued by Valve haha.

Using a leaked password and exploiting bad customer support isn't really on the same level as hacking steam.

Anyway it's unlikely it actually was them and it isn't even hacking steam - it's just overloading the servers. Literally isn't even close to the definition of hacking.

People are mad about it,

some people earn money from it by streaming their gambling sessions (ex. Phantom l0rd),

and I'm quite pissed too, but I'm pretty pissed at Tmartin and Syndicate because if they just stated that they were owners of the site, they wouldn't have fucked it up for everyone.

And that lawsuit against Valve? Just butthurt gamblers.
