Edit: The gambling sites and their owners probably commited suicide by doing that, now they'll get sued by Valve haha. Anyway it's unlikely it actually was them and it isn't even hacking steam - it's just overloading the servers. Literally isn't even close to the definition of hacking. People are mad about it, some people earn money from it by streaming their gambling sessions (ex. Phantom l0rd), and I'm quite pissed too, but I'm pretty pissed at Tmartin and Syndicate because if they just stated that they were owners of the site, they wouldn't have fucked it up for everyone.
