Help Running Overwatch on my horrid laptop

I think this is the right place to put this.

So all I've got is a standard ASUS U47A. I can't run Overwatch because "No compatible graphics hardware was found.". I have Intel Graphics 3000 and I need at least 4400. I know shit about computers so I was hoping somebody could offer advice on what I can do. Either a specific external GPU or a relatively cheap new laptop to run it on. Thanks <3

External graphics is a thing that few people get into because it's very complicated and extremely dangerous so no go there. New computer is what it's gonna have to be.

What's so bad about external graphics?

Just buy a new computer, there are some cheap laptops with good hardware.

Or just build your own desk pc, might be better, and you can always update it.

I had to buy one because my toaster couldn't run cs 1.5

Step 1: get a desktop computer.

Step 2: run the game.

Laptops are not designed for any kind of resource-intensive load, despite whatever the marketers will tell you.

I'm fully aware of that. The problem is I'm heading off to college and I won't have the space for a desktop.

Then deal with it, I guess. I wouldn't buy a laptop just to barely run a game (a shitty one).

If a game doesn't even support your GPU, It's a sign that you might need to reevaluate the design you have. If you really need a new laptop, a new game can be a good excuse for it because then you'd at least be able to config it to the level of TF2 configs used by pros (essentially pixels on a stick with hundreds FPS), assuming Neverwatch can even be customized to such detail.

its your fault for buying the game in the first place

you should really check your specs first
