PayPal help

I'm at work so I can write a short summary only.

I traded with an Indonesian a knife for PayPal several times. He paid my in different accounts with $85 each time. I made a total of 8 transactions equaling to $700 in charge backs (or so).

Turns out the accounts were hijacked and 4 of them charged back (-$325). The Indonesian told me he'll contact the police.

I sent an email to PayPal explaining it and how I won't be able to pay it off if they get charged back.

While I was snowboarding a woman from the debt department called me and threatened that I had to pay within a week. I think someone punted her cunt because she was a total bitch and didn't listen.

What are my chances of not being rip?

well aside from the fact that you ignored warning signs from an obvious scammer

-indonesian

-paid in different accounts

-"he'll contact the police"

also i wouldnt believe they got "hijacked" and he'll "contact the police".

youre fucked unless you pay lol. i got chargebacked once, not much like 50 bucks and all i did was add money to the account to zero out the balance and closed it forever.

While I doubt he'll talk to the police about it, the accounts were stolen.

All of them were name accounts, the last one a business account. Which is the first of the charge backs.

I can probably pay off $100, but not $700

do you say they are stolen because he said so?

from my point of view you were just blatantly lied to, theres no reason for him to have over 5 accounts

No he didn't tell me, when I researched the last payment it was definitely a business account and not an alt

Indonesian and wants to pay with different accounts. Alarm bells, anyone?

If you now have a negative paypal balance you'll have to pay that. Paypal doesn't give a fuck about your excuses.

Other than that I dont quite understand what happened.

How it happened to people I know:

> you give guy the virtual item

> he sends money

> he tells paypal/ his bank he never got the virtual item

> he gets his money back = you get chargebacked

Have fun "discussing" with paypal. Don't expect anything to come from it though.

Thing is, these were stolen accounts, and if he somehow managed to make an alt based off an actual business then he's the one who'll have a tough time explaining himself
