Gen 2 Pidgeot Moveset

So I was playing Crystal yesterday, and I randomly found and caught a shiny Pidgeotto. (that's why I don't always use repels  )

 

It's only level 16, so I can pretty much develop it however I want.

 

What is a good moveset/moves to teach it so it'll actually be useful.

Smogon is pretty cool, it shows you what movesets work for any pokemon in any gen, so you don't find someone telling you to put brave bird on your pidgey in second gen.

 

Pigeotto doesn't have a 2nd gen moveset on smogon, so I linked you pidgeot.

With Gen II, you're dealing with a very limited movepool. So, Return and Wing Attack, Hidden Power if it's a good one, and then filler move(s).

Since there isn't much of a metagame for Gen 2, you'll bee looking for general moves for use in-game. Return is a good move, along with either Fly or Wing Attack. The rest is up to you.
