Consiglieres Handlebar
I recently bought a used hyper 212 and I keep having issues with it. After I first installed it my computer would fail to boot up properly. The fans would spin once then stop. The light on my GPU however were still on. After putting my old fan back in the PC worked fine. I contacted the seller and told him, he advised me to remove the CMOS battery and put it back in. I tried this out and it worked! The PC booted normally and the hyper 212 was working. However, my PC then began to freeze. My keyboard would not work and the caps lock and number lock would not change. This has never happened before since I built the computer. The only thing I could do was turn it off and back on. I tried mem test and it froze during that. After i also stopped getting a signal on my monitor. I put my old fan back in and it works fine. Hot Shot
It sounds like an overheating issue. The new fan probably isn't cooling as well as the old one.
Tanner the Original Scout™
Get a new Hyper 212. My brother has one and it has worked without a hitch.
There
Try to monitor CPU temps after your computer boots up. See how high they get. I use HWMonitor.
