Discovered new exploit in the source Engine.

So, I discovered a major bug in the entire source engine that basically sets any object transparent. Including walls. In pure servers as well. Across multiple games.

 

I've reported it to valve security and am awaiting a response, any thoughts?

Are you noclipping and out of map or? I'd kill myself virtually rather than play with that amount of missing textures.

 

 

Transparent pillars(?) are cool tho

That's inside blue spawn during setup with my face buried in the wall. Complete sight of enemy team if they were there. Sticky traps, spies, sentries, pyros, anything.

odd. did you reset your comp and see if it were a client issue?

this is an exploit. On purpose. I'm reporting it before someone else learns how to perform it and abuse it. It has the potential to be extremely dangerous because of the way it works.

Its any VALVE related game issue.

 

Any exploit, so items, VALVE maps etc..

 

Choose a unusual last breath (stormy 13th hour)..

If they do grant me an unusual, I will request frostbite. On brimstone.

 

Personally, I'm just happy I found something major on my own.
