TF2 crashes GPU/driver on 2014 Halloween Map

Edit: solved

(Dunno if this should be in this area, or TF2 discussion. I'm assuming here, if not someone move it/notify me)

I had this problem a very long time ago, with regular maps. I fixed it with a clean install of new drivers + defragging. This time around, however, I have not been able to fix the problem after a variety of attempts.

On the 2014 Halloween Map, primarily once it goes to the bumper cars, it will randomly crash my GPU into black screen. 80% of the time, it's after one team wins whatever minigame and before you go back to spawn/regular map. The other times, just appears to be random moments with bumper cars. Once it crashes, I have to wait for the reboot/monitor pause and force TF2 to close in task manager. I don't have this issue on other maps, so I'm puzzled.

I've verified the game cache, defragged the local files, clean installed the latest video drivers (already had them installed, but did it again), I've tried running in DX8 (which actually gives me more problems if I try it in windowed mode, have normal/non GPU crashed seconds after walking out of spawn with DX8 + windowed), I've swapped between windowed and fullscreen with varying settings, dropped settings to as low as possible, basically the gauntlet of whatever I could think of.

I don't want to reinstall TF2 (did so recently before finding out that the stupid MOTD's were recently giving me problems. DAMN YOU MOTD'S!), and I can't imagine that the 2014 map download file got corrupted since every other aspect of the map works and appears to be flawless. No missing textures, no weird errors trying to join the servers, etc. Is there anything I'm missing? Card is a GTS 250, super omega outdated at this point but it's been good to me and TF2 isn't super demanding so I'm figuring I'm not stuck with upgrading it.

Something.

Are there any recent drivers for the card? Doubt it, but never kills to try. But delete the map then verify the cache.

Most recent drivers for mine were from July maybe? I'm pretty sure my series and many of the older ones are having their support phased out. They are pretty recent though, and I don't think they are the issue this time. I'll delete the map and redownload, see if that works

Yeah. My laptop's APU drivers were last updated in April and nothing strange has happened. There has been like 4 drivers for my laptop GPU btw

K fixed the issue. Before, I had deleted the map and redownloaded it by joining a server. This time, I deleted it and checked game cache. It redownloaded, and seems to be working 100% now. Ty and closing
