d0 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
As a few of you know, I've made a troll rep thing for my FRIENDS only. Which was a one time thing I did with people ALREADY ON my list. These were handled instantly by bp.tf mods & I didn't deny it and suggested to fix the system and such. Later a "fanboy" (I have nicknames for all my steam friends) wanted to play Steamrep police and reported me even tho I clearly was joking. This resulsted in a Caution warning on a site called "HG" - HarpoonGaming. The admin called me a "scammer" when I've never had anything close to a scam/fraud or any tf2op/trading related scam/shark done ever. HG caution - http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198031258757 OK - Later I'm getting into business with Bob and make $10,000's of dollars purchases in my trading career for paypal. Link to buds/keys purchased - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/22714857, most people left a rep on either of my 3 rep sites, so most of those payments can be confirmed. And all the cash can be confirmed by Bob. So I figured I should contact the Admin/creator of HG "Eoj" by commenting on his profile and add him. 2weeks+ and removed my old comment, reposted.. Still nothing. Not to brag or sound like I'm better than everyone else, but I doubt there's many users who made the same/more amount of paypal transactions this month? At least I'm somewhere in the top excluding shops and a few other traders maybe. So since I do 100's of cash trades, cross-game trading with non-speaking dota2/csgo users and stay in TF2 - a lot of phishers/potential scammers are trying to scam/shark me. I always just block them/advice them to not do any related trade that involve a scam/shark. Regardless most of them are pissed and report me on Steam which has been leading into a "Watch out d0 has been reported bla bla" when you open a trade window with me. So people look me up on SR and see the missleading and incorrect caution tag. It haven't been an real issue since 98-99% of the trades people understand/ignore it because they realize I'm a reliable and trusted trader. But then there's this douchbag who got 0rep 0trades 0games and a guy is defending him - http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198031258757-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.81222/ So am I forced to have these missleading and annoying things up because I'm an active trader and helping the community? Steamrep don't care about HG and want me to deal with the HG staff, but I don't get a reply from the guy posted in my appeal thread. Can anyone help me and point out that I've spent 1000's of hours on bp.tf, bought stuff for $10,000's of cash and got a more valueable Steam account than most of the Steamrep and admins of all kind.. Do I really need to have a 5min explain story each time someone add me about anything stated above? Would save them if Steamrep could just fix this crap. ~thx & sry for bad grammar/spelling. EDIT 9th December 2014 - Eoj's chat (I chatted with him before calling me a bitch and other stuff) - http://i.imgur.com/7jQVSvB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/msdhoEF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7MhixsO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/edycdm4.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NO5m4N1.jpg Silent's chat - http://i.imgur.com/dRlgTUO.png http://i.imgur.com/CewColP.png The image he is reffering to - http://files.steamrep.com/1/2014-12/2014-12-09_12-41-22.png I need fucking help and this is so stressful and annoying to deal with every single day.. SR rules would advice to take it to bp.tf? http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

Prince Lowell
d0 for pres wait no d0 is tagged d0 for securatry he is being serious here. I think, although i am not an expert, that you should just let things run it's course. the only time you should take action is if a much more credible person makes a move to mark you If this is a bad idea, i am sorry, because i don't know too much about SR

Liddojunior
You have to deal with the caution tag. You did break a rule and ask for rep without prior trade. It was pretty straight forward when it first happened. As for appealing it, you do have to wait several months before they consider it I would believe. w0lk
You get 5 years for stealing ( depends on what you steal ) here where I live irl. Yet you get a permenent mark on SteamREP for not doing anything wrong ( If you count that joke as not harmless ). Pretty sure that's how this community works. That's some huge SteamREP logic right here.

Yepp, I can understand that - which is why I pointed out my paypal trading and 100's of cash rep trades. Shouldn't that be enough for them to reconsider since it's been over a month now? Hawko
Holy hell is Steam rep bullshit. Some guy also reported me for a retarded reason and I can't seem to get his caution tag off me. I've asked Steam Rep to take this damn tag off, even the guy who reported me told them to take it off, but they don't even bother to do it. I've been banned on Source OP for this crazy bullshit. Darklunerninja
If people don't know who you are then they are just daft. I wouldn't worry about it till a REAL scam happens and can be proven, not because people can't take a joke.

KrystalGamer
Well the funniest thing is that HG was the only community that gave a sh*t. They should be really desperate to mark people. I fcking hate steamrep, they can't handle a case.
Baloo
Well the funniest thing is that HG was the only community that gave a sh*t. They should be really desperate to mark people. I fcking hate steamrep, they can't handle a case. If you happen to read d0's appeal to Harpoon Gaming, you would notice d0 sent the same statement he had been sending to multiple user's on his friend's list to an administrator of Harpoon Gaming which is why he was given a caution tag from that specific community. Actual image from appeal: here. The tag was issued by an affiliate group of SteamRep which is why when d0 filed an appeal to SteamRep, he was asked to make an appeal on the community site on which he was tagged. It was not SteamRep's case to handle, faking reputation is a serious issue regardless if the intention was harmless. No moderator is desperate to tag users as scammers or with caution tags. They applied for the job in order to keep the community a safe and friendly environment for all traders.

Amen
I highly doubt making a thread asking ppl to tell steamrep admins that you're legit is the way to go with this. No offense, but you royally fucked up with the "joke" when you sent it to a "fanboy" as that's just asking for trouble. I mean even sending that to your close friends isn't a good idea. Why are you even bothering responding to the guy accusing you of scamming anyways. Not willing to use a middleman =/= scammer, so it just makes him look retarded, and I'm sure the steamrep admins can see that for themselves. I would think becoming reputable is what is going make your appeal in a few months from now, be accepted. For, now I don't think its enough for a short period of time. Just keep trading, and don't do anything that calls for a scammer/caution tag. Especially be careful about the people you accept or trade with one trade with a obvious alt or scammer will land you that scammer tag or make them deny your appeal for a ~year

Tanner the Original Scout™
something Just "shortened" what you put. But on a very serious note, you were joking. And apparently the obvious isn't obvious enough. So, very sadly, you have to deal with the ~3% of Steam that can't take a joke.

d0 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Bump, please read the edit and help me guys. I am fucking desperate and upset. I do not wish for any pitchforks and flame SR staff, but I actually REALLY NEED some SERIOUS help and assistance. If anyone got ANYTHING useful I'd truely appreciate it more than you guys think. I just wanna get this tag gone for 2 main things. 1) Look more trustworthy and gain respect so I can still help bp.tf suggestors and everything like I used too. 2) I got plans applying on a bigger TF2 trade server, which is probably a real interest for the admin if I clear up my tag. ALL I wanna do is sit here with my time while I'm still on sick leave and actually HELP and IMPROVE the community, but it's actually pretty damn hard when I got to deal with this crap and I get literally 0 help from the SR & HG staff. No rage, d0.
