knavesmith
See a flame war occurring in a thread? Someone asking for fixed prices in the Item Trading sub-forum? People spamming on your thread? Found a scammer out and want him banned? Someone acting rude and abusive? Is a thread in the wrong forum section? Think something is against the rules and should be removed? Use the Report Function! The mods can't do anything about things if no one reports them Posting in the thread "hurr durr u gun get bannu," "lock plz," or "Use classifieds" doesn't do anything except clutter the thread with useless posts.Using the report function to report the content will notify the Staff immediately. It's much faster to directly notify the Staff about rule-breaking content than waiting for a Staff member to eventually stumble across it, which can take up to weeks to happen. How to Use the Report Function:Step 1: Locate the content you wish to report.Go to the page where you found the rule-breaking content. If it's a thread you wish to report, use the very first post.If it's a user you wish to report, go to their forums profile. If it's a status update you wish to report, take a picture of the status and go to the user's forums profile.Step 2: Click the Report buttonLocated to the left of the Quote buttons and at the bottom-right hand corner of a user's profile page is the Report button. Click it to start a report.Step 3: Fill in any necessary informationThese are some examples of reasons for reporting content.Make sure your report has a valid reason and proper proof. The report function is something you should be using to remove rule-breaking content, not joke around with or send the Staff messages. If you need to have a talk with a Staff member, send them a private message via the forums!Step 4: Submit your ReportClick the "Submit Report" button and your report will be sent to the Staff for them to review. If your report is valid and the content is indeed rule-breaking, the Staff will react accordingly. Now that this thread is up, there should be no excuse for not using the Report function. Next time you see a flame war going on, someone selling items for fixed prices, threads in the wrong forum section, rude and abusive behavior, spam, or anything that should be removed, locked, or fixed, use the report function to notify the Staff right away! λngelღмander, anime dipshit, Micah ΧΞΣ and 3 others

Tron
Wow, never knew that the mods couldn't do anything if no one reports them. Thanks for the help Temporary bans or several warning points should definately be given for things like this: I like to think of Jesus as Superman. He looks human, but can do much more things than humans can do. Jesus is Gods son, so I would classify Him as holy. they're both fictional #rekt Note: I have encountered much more religious descrimination on these forums. Much. More. I would agree that they don't contribute to the thread in question, but a temporary ban or warning points would be too harsh for only 1 post of spam. If it was multiple posts, then I'd understand. A Delicious Cashew
Wow, never knew that the mods couldn't do anything if no one reports them. That's not necessarily true. Mods can do things without a report. The above statement should be clarified as mods don't have enough time to look over suggestions and monitor every topic on the forums. A report brings any issue to our attention. However, a mod may still find a flamewar that hasn't been reported and can take action

The mods won't know if there is something going on until either they stumble across it or someone reports it. The former may take ages while the latter is instantaneous.
